Boys & Girls Club of Chester Franklin Institute Science in the Summer Program

Over the past three years, the Boys & Girls Club of Chester has participated in the Franklin Institute Science in the Summer program. The goal of the Science in the summer is to increase youth's interest and confidence in doing science and pursuing STEM careers.  This

year over 50 BGCC youth in 2^nd- 6^th grade had the opportunity to assemble a variety of science projects focused on careers in areas such as Cardiology, Dietary, and Dentistry. Another part of the program gave the youth a chance to spend a day exploring and expanding their knowledge on STEM careers at the Franklin Institute.
