"Teaching children to be kinder to animals today is our only hope
for a kinder world tomorrow."

Providence Animal Center was thrilled to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Chester for a pilot program focusing on Art and Animals.
Younger campers had the opportunity to meet adoptable pets and staff from the Center including a Humane Officer, a Veterinarian, and an Animal Care Specialist.
They also created amazing art projects that helped them learn about the Three C's: Care, Communication and Compassion. From pet portraits to puppets to mini-libraries, young people had the chance to connect their creative expressions with important knowledge about how to help animals in their lives.
Campers in the older age group had the chance to visit Providence Animal Center for a tour of their life-saving facility and had the opportunity to learn about various careers working with animals as well as time to play with puppies!
We are grateful for such a wonderful collaboration.
